I think they do, since outsiders can sometimes come up with information or ideas that the practitioners overlook. But of course, for every outsider with new information, there are about a thousand crack pots with their "theories" about the Lost Tribes, Atlantis, Lemuria or whatever. I am saddened to see that Sonia seems to have tried to put me in that category, even though my anthropology is not all that far from orthodox. This is a new low for her.
