Only someone drunk on socialism AND obsessed with central planning could write a book attempting to quantify number and types of deaths attributed to not spending enough taxpayers' money...
Only someone drunk on corporatism and living in a total state of denial as to what those corporatist politics do to the would write such a comment. In your depraved world view it is better that people die by the thousands than force the sacred god of corporate power to share some of the wealth obtained through state-granted privileges.
Not true! We're not so far apart. The main enemy of individual liberty is government itself, not only "corporations", "banksters" or "the rich".
Shrink the state down to nearly nothing and we can prevent those state-granted privileges, subsidies, manipulations, resource monopoly grants and the rigging of prices, wages, profits, and indices.
But it's a two-way street. Economic freedom for you or I - the ability to engage in mutually-agreed economic transaction with only the necessary minimum of government interference, regulation or taxation - means allowing economic freedom for larger players too.
