ReplyDeleteAlthough the particular drought mentioned in the article occured about 70,000 years ago, as opposed to the much more recent climate change that DeMeo's research focuses on, it does provide evidence that climate change has indeed affected the social evolution of humans.
I still haven't finished reading Saharasia yet, but it's definitely a fascinating read.
