I wouldn't leave Dems off the hook.
True enough, but then how many Dems actually qualify as "left-wing". Hilary, the bete noir of the right wing nuts is politically to the right of the Canadian Conservative Party!
It's not just politicians, either. The neo-fascist bureaucracies are littered with these sorts of people. DHS has a whole wing devoted to Kiddie Porn entrapment.
You can imagine who works there!
Everyone knows about Brian Doyle... busted for the same crime while working at DHS.
I think it's pretty much a prereq that anyone who wants to work for such an authoritarian institution has an urge to dominate and a lust for power that easily translates to screwing children.
Who needed more evidence?
